'Best of 2013': The Guardian picks Wildlife Jigsaw Puzzles 123

It's so rewarding to be recognised for trying to do the right thing. At the GiggleUp studio we're always looking for ways to improve our apps to make sure they stay relevant to kids and their parents. So it is especially encouraging to see The Guardian pick out Wildlife Jigsaw Puzzles 123 amongst the plethora of kids apps out there to include in their list of 'best apps for kids from 2013'. What an awesome end to the week!

Maze Series Wins Editor's Choice at the Children's Technology Review

Good games never get old, and the best games can be enjoyed generations on. This week we had the honor of receiving the Editor's Choice Award from Children's Technology Review for two of our apps - Preschool Maze 123 and Fairytale Maze 123. This totally blew us away, as now all three apps in our kids maze series have been rewarded with a shiny token of their quality in design and value to children everywhere. Toddler Maze 123, the very first in the series, was also awarded the Editor's Choice Award last year.

Toddler Maze Earns Spot In Mashable's Top 5 Kids Apps Of The Week

Mashable is today's go-to for all sorts of news and useful tidbits about happenings around the world with a following of 20 monthly visitors, and it has given Toddler Maze 123 a whopping 4.6 star rating. What did they have to say? "An excellent app for younger children that provides a solid spatial learning experience." Can't complain about that.

Interactive Telling Time Mentioned in The Australian

Understanding time is up there in the list of basic life skills, according to The Australian, along with tying shoelaces and riding a two-wheeled bike. Interactive Telling Time proves that kids apps are effective in teaching children a wide range of lessons. When it comes to learning how to tell time, The Australian advises parents: "Outsource the lesson to this great phone and tablet app called Interactive Telling Time Lite. This bright and cheery app is free and includes games and friendly voice overs."
